The Cooper Companies Set Annual Meeting and Stockholder Record Dates

PLEASANTON, Calif., Dec. 28, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Cooper Companies, Inc. (NYSE:COO) today announced that it will hold its next annual meeting of stockholders on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 9:00 A.M.  Stockholders of record as of the close of business on January 28, 2011 will be eligible to vote on matters presented in the Company's proxy statement, including electing its slate of directors. The Company plans to mail its proxy statement on or about February 7, 2011.
